All kids are different. But they remember very special moments from very early in life. Years
ago I found a picture of Mom and I at a window watching a storm brew. I was very young but
I faintly remember that. I remember mom being afraid of storms back
then.

When I was a year old I woke up and went out to the living room, sat
down in a rocker and
stared at a blank screen thinking a TV show would soon appear. I remember doing that.

My uncle Bill lived down the street from us and drove a truck. His truck wasn't scary
and noisy. My neighbor's across the road was. I remember being about two when the neighbor
moved in. He drove a old green Mack that had air start. That air start scared the heck
out of me when ever I heard it.

My kids grew up around Monster Trucks.

My son, Chris, was 4 Years old when he took me to my first Monster Truck show. Later that year
I met Diehl and his brother Larry when I bought Chris a picture and some other stuff at
Diehl's shop. It was Chris' fifth birthday. Larry invited me to stop by the shop once in a
while and we became friends.

The following year we went to a couple locat1ons to watch Diehl's The Virginia Giant perform
and we took both Chris and Samara, our two year old daughter. I then started helping Diehl at
the shows he promoted. Samara insisted on going to every show from then on. She remembers
most all of that and she turns 21 tomorrow. Samara works the merchandise stand at
most of the Performance Motorsports shows.

Our youngest, Courtney, didn't want to go to the shows until she was around 7 or 8. Then she
went to every one after that we worked at. She's the teenage girl who helps me setup the
audio system now. And she hangs out with me after the shows.
